Wales Nuclear Forum

The METaL team attended the Wales Energy Showcase organised by the Wales Nuclear Forum on Dec 3rd at the Bay Campus, Swansea University.  The Nuclear Forum has been set up to provide a platform for strategic engagement between the nuclear industry and Welsh based suppliers as well as promoting cross sector collaboration.  There were a variety of speakers at the event, including a representative from Welsh Government who discussed “how we’re stimulating the international market”.  There was a good attendance with network discussions focusing on future opportunities.

The event concluded with a ‘questions & answers’ section.   This gave all attendees the chance to discuss commercial opportunities in nuclear for Welsh industries with a panel consisting of Directors & Business Development Managers from Framatome, Costain Group & Kaefer UK.
